The tcworld Conference 2021 – a lot going on virtually, too!

tcworld Conference 2021

Even though the tcworld Conference 2021 will again take place “only” virtually, we will still be represented with a booth, on 8.11.2021 at the Technology Day, and the following presentations:

Inclusive language included

November 10, 2021, 1 p.m.

Inclusive language is a so-called cross-cutting issue that affects (almost) everyone. For efficient implementation, there must therefore be a common, central data source, e.g. the terminology database, in which all guidelines and language regulations are managed. It also forms the basis for supporting e.g. content producers – and this in all languages used.

In her presentation, Anita Wilson will give relevant advice on how to lay the foundations for inclusive language in companies and on how to implement it.

You can already reserve your place in this talk here. Please note that this presentation will be held in German.

Ontology building doesn’t have to be a mammoth project

November 11, 2021, 4 p.m.

Many companies have an extensive terminology inventory. But how can this be integrated into an ontology? Does this require an extensive mammoth project? No! Smart, automated processes make it possible to keep the project scope lean.

Axel Theofilidis, Congree, and Klaus Fleischmann, Kaleidoscope, present how linguistically intelligent analysis steps and concept maps make enable you to build an uncomplicated ontology.

Interesting for you? Then you’d better reserve your place right now! Please note that this presentation will be held in German.

Global SEO or how can I be found internationally thanks to terminology?

November 12, 2021, 2:30 p.m.

Due to the COVID pandemic, we immediately switched from analog to digital, from home office to purchases in both B2C and B2B. These developments are having a lasting impact on our online behavior and make it all the more important to be found in the target markets with your own website. Translating keywords is not enough. What is needed, is a global approach and a binding basis that creates consistent terminology.

In order to be found internationally by buyers in target markets, it is not enough to simply translate the keywords. It needs a differentiated approach and consistent terminology. How? Klaus Fleischmann explains.
